Holiday tips to keep pets safe5 things you can do to make the holidays safer for your pet.

  1. Keep people food out of reach of your pet and ask your guest to do the same.
  2. Don’t leave your pet alone in the room with lit candles or a decorated tree.
  3. Keep toxic holiday plants out of reach of pets (holly, mistletoe and lilies)
  4. Consider leaving tinsel off your tree if you have a cat.
  5. Provide a safe place for your pet to escape the excitement.
