5 things you can do to make the holidays safer for your pet.
- Keep people food out of reach of your pet and ask your guest to do the same.
- Don’t leave your pet alone in the room with lit candles or a decorated tree.
- Keep toxic holiday plants out of reach of pets (holly, mistletoe and lilies)
- Consider leaving tinsel off your tree if you have a cat.
- Provide a safe place for your pet to escape the excitement.
